Serious Injury

What is a serious Injury?

Sustaining a serious injury can be life changing for you and your family. It is likely to have an intrusive and restrictive impact upon your home, work and social life. There will be many questions and anxieties over finances and rehabilitation.

Serious injuries may include: a traumatic brain injury; spinal injury; amputation; severe/complex orthopaedic injury; and in extreme cases injuries that result in a fatality.

Such injuries may arise from a road traffic accident, an accident at work or an accident in a public place.

How we can help?

  • We understand that sustaining a serious injury can be devastating not only for you but also for your family. We liaise closely with you and your family; starting with an early assessment of the short, medium and long term rehabilitation goals.
  • We look to secure an early interim payment to fund treatment and reduce your financial worries where possible.
  • We view each client as an individual and we pride ourselves in our compassionate and empathetic approach throughout the various stages of your claim.
  • We work as a team with other professionals such as clinicians, Case Managers and therapists to help consider your medical, care and social needs. Where supported by the experts, this may include the provision of aids and equipment to help with your daily life and, in certain circumstances, alternative accommodation may be necessary.

Why Resolution Law

  • We have a dedicated team of solicitors who have many years of experience in dealing with serious, catastrophic injury and fatal accident claims.
  • All of our solicitors act solely for Claimants and are passionate about achieving the best outcome for their clients in what can be the most difficult time of their lives.
  • We are able to represent Claimants across England and Wales and have access to a network of specialists that work closely with us to strive towards our end goal to provide the best quality of life for our clients and obtain the right amount of compensation for you.
  • If following our free initial consultation, you are assessed as having sustained a serious injury, we may offer to act for you under a Conditional Fee Agreement if there is no alternative appropriate method of funding your case. Unlike other firms who may seek to take a deduction of 25% from your compensation by way of a success fee, we will not. Instead, we will assess each case individually to see if a 0% success fee is possible. If it is not, we will cap any success fee deduction at 20%.
  • See what our clients say about us by taking a look at our reviews on Trustpilot. Our current rating is “Excellent” at 4.9/5.
